Meet Vanessa, the powerhouse behind Mountain Weddings. When she’s not orchestrating unforgettable weddings, Vanessa dedicates herself to empowering women worldwide. In addition to leading Mountain Weddings, she owns and runs a charity focused on uplifting women in India and hosts countless networking events for female entrepreneurs in Europe. Whether she’s captivating audiences with her speeches or sharing insights on podcasts, Vanessa’s passion for women’s empowerment shines through.
Her journey with Mountain Weddings began when she encountered challenges while planning her own wedding, struggling to find local independent suppliers. Determined to streamline the process for others, Vanessa has built an extensive network of trusted suppliers near each venue, ensuring that couples never face the same hurdles she did. With Vanessa at the helm, your dream wedding is in expert hands.
Our commitment to giving back
Vanessa has pledged to donate at least 25% of the company profits this year to build orphanages in India. 50% of the girls at the orphanages have been left on the streets purely for the fact they are girls, and therefore a ‘liability and not an asset’. The orphanage will be run by local widows and will focus on teaching the girls skills that will give them their independence in the future such as tailoring and bookkeeping.
Once this is set up, we will be duplicating this across the country to build a network of (hopefully) 100’s of orphanages.
